The Proof Process:

The technical part of the process starts when you deliver a reproduction grade transparency, a high resolution digital file, or the original artwork. From this point I will create a digital file or work with your submitted file.

Next the file is color corrected and cleaned of any imperfections that show up on the screen. Once this work is completed, a "ring-around " proof is printed, on the material you have chosen.

You will have the opportunity to look at the proof and if changes are necessary, I will make those changes and produce a second proof for your approval. You will again have a chance to make changes. When this process has been completed, a third proof is printed for your approval. This process continues until we are both satisfied with the results. Many times we hit it on the first try, but as long as we are making progress toward an acceptable product I’ll provide you with as many proofs as needed. The final proof becomes the BAT (bon a tirer). I will print two of these prints. One is given to the artist as their first artist proof and the other proof must be signed by the artist and returned to the studio. I will not produce final prints without physical possession of a signed and dated BAT.

When the BAT is approved and signed, it will be used as a color standard for all other prints in this edition. The proofs and final prints are printed on our 12 color printers using archival pigmented inks and our fine art papers or canvas. Samples of our papers are available upon request.

The majority of our watercolor prints are printed on Hawk Mountain 100% cotton rag paper. This is an American made paper that comes in variable widths and weights. We also print on other papers at the artist's request. Some art reproduces better on a hard surface paper, others reproduce better on the velvet. We also use 17-mil Artist Canvas for our canvas reproductions.

Your files are now ready to begin the reproduction process. I highly recommend that you only print what you believe you will sell within three to six months. You can always have more images printed and they will match the originals.

The turn around time is one week for your first proof and one week for the final print (from time of receipt of signed BAT).

The Legacy Program:

You may not be ready to offer prints to the public, or you just have too many pieces available to offer at one time.

When you complete a piece of art you should have it photographed or digitally scanned. At some time in the future you are going to quit painting. If you produced only originals and you have sold all of them, your income will end. Under the Legacy Program you have a digital file of those originals and you can now offer reproductions. Your income can go on forever, even past your lifetime.

Our Legacy Program gives you the following:

A high resolution, mega pixel, digital scan of your original artwork (we no longer offer film copies of your artwork). Cleaned, color balanced and ready for print production.

• A digital file created for the ZAPP program so you are able to submit your work for art shows.
  
• A digital file setup for note cards.
  
• A digital file for brochure and postcard productions.
  
• A digital file for your website.

The total cost for this program is $95.00.

A 50% deposit is required with all orders.

 The Artist Program:

The artist program is for the artist who is just venturing into offering prints for sale.

They usually do not have multiple pieces ready to publish.

The Artist Program gives you the following:

• A high resolution, mega pixel, digital scan of your original artwork (we no longer offer film copies of your artwork. This file is cleaned, color balanced and proofed with our ring around process:
  
• 1 artist proof print for you to select the best color and density. Your artist proof can be printed on canvas, watercolor paper, or photo glossy paper.
  
• 1 finished print printed to size of your original and ready to sell.
  
• A certificate of Authenticity.
  
• A digital file created for the ZAPP program so you are able to submit your work for art shows
  
• A digital file set up for note cards..
  
• A digital file for brochure and postcard productions..
  
• A digital file for your website..
  
• A digital tiff file of your color corrected production file.

The total cost of this program is $150.00 per original submitted.

If you supply a digital file deduct $30.00 from the price. A 50% deposit is required with all orders.

The Producer Program:
 

The producer program is for the serious artist who has been selling their work on a regular basis and produces a lot of new pieces throughout the year.

The Producer Program gives you the following:

• A high resolution, mega pixel, digital scan of your original artwork (we no longer offer film copies of artwork). This file is cleaned, color balanced and proofed with our ring around process:
  
• 1 artist proof print at the size of the original piece of art, coated with two coats of clear acrylic to protect the surface from any environmental damage. Your artist proof can be printed on canvas, watercolor paper, or photo glossy paper.
  
• A certificate of Authenticity.
  
• A digital file created for the ZAPP program so you are able to submit your work for art shows.
  
• A digital file set up for note cards
  
• A digital file for brochure and postcard productions.
  
• A digital file for your website.
  
• A digital tiff file of your color corrected production file.

The Producer Program is our 3 for 2 program. You submit 3 pieces of art and pay for 2. If you are going to show your work it is more economical to show 3 new editions than to show only one. It shows the buying public that you are to be taken seriously as a professional artist.

The total cost for this program is $295.00.

If you supply digital files deduct $50.00 from this price. A 50% deposit is required with all orders.

You Do it All Program:

No image available since you do all the work.

This program is designed for the artist / photographer who sends a digital file ready to print. I take the file put it in my computer run a proof and match it with the sample print sent along with the file. This is a straight load and print program. I will do no cropping, clean-up, or color adjustments.

The total cost of this program is the price of the print requested.

The Poster Program:

Our poster program gives the artist / photographer an inexpensive way to get their work into the public's hands.

·    1 22x30 print mounted on black foam core and placed in a clear sleeve.

·    A digital file created for the ZAPP program so you are able to submit your work for art shows with a digital watermark so you can track where your images are being used.

·    A digital file for brochure and postcard productions with a digital watermark.

·    A digital file for your website with a digital watermark.

·    A digital tiff file of your color corrected production file.

You as the artist must supply a 7 mega pixel file or better along with your information you want placed on your poster. I will take your file and create the poster and send you a soft proof ( email proof). When you approve the proof I will complete the production.

The setup fee for the poster is $25.00.

A minimum of 5 units must be purchased at one time. This price is $20.00 per poster. If you purchase a minimum of 10 posters your cost is $15.00 per poster.

Zapplication Program:

This program is designed for the artist/photographer who submit pieces to juried shows and contests. We will scan your original art, color correct and create a digital file to Zapplication's requirements. If you have an account with Zapplication we will also upload your files to your account.

You will get a disk with your original scan, color corrected scan, and your Zapp file.

The total cost of this program is $65.00 per image.
